We are thrilled to announce that Threemile’s General Manager of Livestock, Dr. Jeff Wendler, has joined the Oregon Dairy Farmers Association (ODFA) board, representing District 3. This district includes Lane, Coos, Josephine, Jackson, Klamath, Deschutes, Jefferson, Morrow, Umatilla, and Malheur.

The ODFA advocates for dairy producers on local, state, and federal legislative and regulatory issues crucial to the industry.
“We are excited to welcome Jeff’s expertise, leadership, and passion for the dairy industry to the ODFA board,” said the ODFA.
Dr. Wendler graduated from UC Davis with a Veterinary Degree and spent several years in Idaho as a dairy veterinarian, where he co-owned and managed dairies. From 2009 to 2023, he served as the Director of Livestock at Threemile Canyon Farms and now holds the position of General Manager of Livestock.
In his role, Dr. Wendler oversees livestock management and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the ODFA board. He is deeply involved in the Boardman community, serving as a board member and advisor to various FFA and 4-H projects, coaching middle school baseball, and actively participating in his local Catholic church.
“Thank you to the Oregon Dairy Farmers Association for giving me the opportunity to represent the hard-working dairy farmers of district 3. I look forward to using my experience and passion to advance Oregon’s dairy industry. Our continued focus on sustainability and the highest standards of animal welfare will only grow Oregon’s reputation as one of the most innovative producers of high-quality dairy in the nation.”
Beyond his local contributions, Dr. Wendler has been involved with the Idaho Dairymen’s Association, the Idaho Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Bovine Practitioners.
