A Time of Giving at Threemile Canyon Farms
| Posted in: Community Impact
At Threemile, being a good community member is one of our key values, and we are always looking for ways to help those in need.
This year, the Threemile team came together to celebrate the holidays as a time for giving. Throughout November and December, we hosted a toy and food drive to support organizations doing good in our local community.
Our food drive collected nonperishable items for the Boardman Food Pantry. During the holidays, the Food Pantry assembles holiday boxes, increasing the need for nonperishable items. This was our second year hosting the drive and it proved to be as successful as the first with strong participation from our team members. Once again, we are delighted to play a role in collecting these essential items.
Team members were also invited to adopt a Christmas list for one of the 26 children in foster care in Morrow County. Team members from across the farm and dairy brought in items to help their fellow community members in need and to bring holiday joy to the children.
From basketballs to fleece jackets, our team excitedly gathered Christmas items to spread holiday cheer. The collected items were taken to Morrow County DHS to be wrapped and distributed.
We are incredibly proud of our team for coming together to support those in need.
